Dakos with beets and grilled onions for our table and will impress, escape from the ordinary, without much effort and cost.
- 2-3 nuts rusks – barley bagels
- 250gr. Cherry tomatoes cut in half
- ½ kilo of beetroot, boiled, chopped
- 4-6 medium sized onions
- 200gr. Feta cheese, cut into pieces
- 12 kalamata olives
- Olive Oil
- salt & pepper
- Fresh or dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
Peel the onions and place the whole on a griddle. Sprinkle with a little oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 c for 30 minutes.
Lightly moisten the nuts and place on platter. Diaskorpizoyme beetroot, scatter the olives, cherry tomatoes and feta and place the grilled onions.
Sprinkle with vinegar and a generous amount of olive oil. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with plenty of fresh or dried oregano to serve.
