Ingredients

  • 800gr. – 1 kg. Veal Shanks or mouse, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • ¾ Cup Dried apricots
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon clove
  • ½ teaspoon ginger powder
  • Juice from 2 lemons
  • 1 ½ liter beef broth

Method

Step 1

Heat the oil and saute the onion to Polish. Add the pieces of meat to get color from all sides.

Step 2

Add the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the Cayenne, cinnamon, the Clove and the ginger and mix. Pour the broth and apricots and close with the lid of the Pan.

Step 3

Cook for 1 ½ hour , until the meat is tender and sauce thickens. Serve immediately with rice, salad or anything else that we prefer.

    With apricots OK. Potatoes what the thslate. Eat pewteini with amilo. God fylaxi.
