Arugula with smoked ham and Caramelized almonds

Arugula with smoked ham and Caramelized almonds because the combination of green salads with smoked blends fits perfectly and creates a very festive mood.

Ingredients

  • 1 small chopped radicchio
  • 1 bunch chopped rocket
  • 120gr. Smoked hams in cubes or bacon
  • 1 Green Apple cut into cubes
  • 2/4 Cup caramelized almonds, ground or that dry fruit you prefer
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • Zest of an orange
  • salt & pepper
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2-3 tablespoons white vinegar

Method

Step 1

In a bowl, beat the oil with the vinegar, honey, the spice and orange zest and keep aside.

Step 2

Meanwhile heat a nonstick skillet and add the ham over medium heat, stirring constantly for 2-3 minutes, until golden. Remove to absorbent paper towels and keep aside.

Step 3

In a large bowl pour and mix the radicchio with Arugula and Apple. Sprinkle the dressing prepared and stir again. sprinkle over the ham and Caramelized almonds and serve.
