Tas kebab in slow cooker to make the use of the divice more classic .
- ½ kilo veal chunks
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion flakes or powder
- salt & pepper
- 6 Red or baby potatoes
- 1 Cup spring onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon of mustard of your choice
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
Mix the garlic powder and onion with salt and pepper and pour in the meat. Brush with the hands to go everywhere.
Heat half the oil in a wide pan and saute the meat to get color from all sides. Pull over with a slotted spoon and keep aside. Scatter at the bottom of the slow cooker fresh onions and top with potatoes washed and cut in half.
In the meantime mix very well in a bowl the remaining oil with thyme, Worcestershire sauce , mustard, tomato sauce and ½ cup water or broth. Place the meat on the other ingredients in the slow cooker and pour the tomato paste mixture.
Cover with the lid and cook on high for 5-6 hours. Serve the food hot with fresh season salad or white rice and extra sauce from the Pan.
