A plate of Spaghetti Bolognese may not sounds interesting. A plate of linguini Bolognese with Italian touch though cannot pass unnoticed.
- 400gr. Linguine or other pasta of your choice
- ½ kilo of mincemeat
- 1 Onion grated
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 medium carrots cut as we like
- 1Cup celery cut as we like
- 2 tablespoons tomato tomato paste
- A pinch of sugar
- ¼ Cup white wine
- 2 ½ cups water or broth
- salt & pepper
Heat the oil in a wide skillet and saute the onion to Polish. Add the garlic for half a minute and add the minced meat.
Stir constantly with wooden spoon, until it Browns on all sides and to dissolve. Add the wine and stir to lightly absorbed.
Add water or broth where we have dissolved the tomato paste. Season with salt and pepper and pour the sugar.
Add the carrots and celery and let it cook on medium heat for 1 ½ hour. If you need to add extra water to get a juicy sauce.
Meanwhile, Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and divide into dishes. Pour over lots of Bolognese Sauce and serve. If we like sprinkle with Parmesan cheese or other cheese of your choice.
