Veal fillet sandwich with vegetable and haloumi serve today and you'll be blown away. I chose pitabread which we can open in the Center and fill with fresh content that will prepare. Hearty, healthy and mostly no time-consuming.
- 2 pies-buns for sandwiches
- 2 beef fillets (180gr. Each)
- 1 green pepper, chopped coarsely
- 1 cups mushrooms, cut into thick slices
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 100gr. Haloumi cheese cut into 2 slices
- salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp balsamico
- Olive Oil
Heat ½ teaspoon of oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion to Polish. Add the bell pepper and mushrooms and pepper.
Stir and let it cook 10-12 minutes over medium to high heat until absorbed most of the liquid.
Sprinkle the balsamico, stir and cook other 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and keep in a warm place.
Meanwhile, season the fillets and cook with minimal oil in Nonstick Skillet or Grill 4-8 minutes per side , Depending on tastes. Take them out and keep in a warm place.
Bake in same dish is simmered over high heat.
Define the pita bread and divide the vegetable mixture. Place by a specific on each sandwich and a slice of halloumi. Serve immediately with cherry tomatoes, green salad or as we prefer.
