Watermelon Mojito with mastic

Mastic watermelon Mojito or just refreshing karpoyzada, without the addition of alkool. The ultimate summer fruit, not eaten only with feta. In the ZannetCooks drink and I highly recommend. Now that fashion is minikarpoyzia, you don't have any excuse not to have one in your refrigerator. If you prefer the classic watermelons, oversized, cut in the Middle, eat for half and half for beverage.

  • 4 cups watermelon, purified from pips
  • 2 cups sparkling water
  • ¼ Cup brown sugar
  • 2 Limes
  • Mint leaves
  • Drink mastic (Optional)


Step 1

Beat the watermelon in multi and keep aside.

Step 2

Cut the limes in 4-8 pieces and divide along with sugar and plenty of mint in glasses. The press with a mortar, ver well, to melt the sugar and get out the juice from the limes.

Step 3

Fill the glasses with lots of ice cubes , preferably crushed and divide the watermelon juice and carbonated water. Add if we drink rum mastic or or no alcohol and mix lightly with 2 straws to be put inside each glass. Serve immediately.
